Travis Scott delivers new album

Travis Scott’s newest album Utopia was released on July 28th, 2023. His album is liked and disliked by many.

Freshman Luke French said his favorite song was “I Know” and that he would put it on his personal playlist. This is his favorite song because he said he like the melody and the lyrics. Luke then said that he doesn’t really have a least favorite song. When I asked Luke who was his favorite feature, he said it had to be “Cardi B.” Luke later said that the album needed more songs and that he would switch out some of the songs for better ones. Lastly, Luke stated that Utopia was a “mid” album, and that people should not listen to it.

My opinion on the album is that there are some good songs like “Fein” or “I Know”, but it is not my favorite album. After this interview I have come to realize that Utopia is not meant for everyone and that it is not one of Travis Scott’s best albums.
