For those unfamiliar: Powder Puff is a high school flag football match between girls accompanied by boy cheerleaders. Greenfield has traditionally hosted this event on Fall Family Night. The two teams that will be competing against each other are coached by juniors Lee Powell and Tyler Thompson v.s. seniors Carter McLamb and R.J. Shealy.
Tyler Thompson, one of the coaches for Powder Puff, is the ‘defensive coordinator’ for his team. Tyler has already planned out a lot of strategies that he will implement into the game. He is very assured of the outcome. He even said, “I think we’re looking for flat-out domination.”

Abby Corbett, one of the players for Tyler’s team, said it was her first experience in playing a Powder Puff game. When asked about how she will play, she said, “I will definitely try, but I will try my most to have fun.” She was not as confident in her team as Tyler was, but thinks it will be an ‘interesting experience’ and a close game.
Rickayla Myles, one of the players for Carter’s team and one of Abby’s friends, discussed a deep rivalry with Abby. She vigorously stated, “I don’t have a rivalry for the other team, I have one with Abby!” She also stated how it was going to be a "really intense" game.
The Powder Puff match is going to be very captivating and neck-to-neck, so make sure to show up this Wednesday on Fall Family Night to see it in action.
