Tennis team has strong start

This year’s Tennis Knights destroyed the opposing Epiphany Falcons in a 9-0 victory on Tuesday, March 28th with singles match wins by top six seeds with Hanson Ngo, Lawson O’Hara, Veer Patel, Gus French, and Daniel Satterfield. Three doubles wins were also claimed with Hanson Ngo-Carter Peele, Lawson O’Hara-Veer Patel, Gus French- Daniel Satterfield.

This Victory against Epiphany was well earned by the team, and was celebrated as the best match played yet. When asked how the team played, Senior Veer Patel, 3rd seed on the team, replied “The boys played well today, consistency and patience were both a factor” The games played on Tuesday were done on clay courts.

Patel said “I think the boys played to the best of their ability and showed what they were really capable up and the potential of the Greenfield Tennis team.” This win marks the second defeat the Tennis team has given to Epiphany school and was caused great ethusiasm towards the season among the team.
