Student raises funds for animal shelter

by Gabby Beddingfield

Jack Wilson is a junior at Greenfield School, and is doing a community service project to help animals in need. Jack loves animals, and he said, “I just want to help them.” So, to do something about it, he started a fund raiser to collect food for cats and dogs, as well as cat litter, for a shelter.

Jack could have done anything to help the community, but he chose this. “I really love animals, like a lot of people, and I just want to help those that are starving; not necessarily in pain, but just those in a shelter.”

Jack is doing some good in our community by raising funds for animals in the Wilson County Animal Enforcement.

If you want to contribute to his efforts, please drop off any cat or dog food, or pelletized, unscented cat litter by Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in the box by the cafeteria.
