Tyler Barnes is a Greenfield Student who is a senior. This year is Tyler’s first year at Greenfield. Tyler went to Rocky Mount High School before he transferred to Greenfield.

Tyler said, “I transferred to Greenfield for a better opportunity for my education and so I could play basketball.”

Right now, for the basketball season, Tyler said, they are working on conditioning to improve their endurance. Tyler has stated that his year has been going very well and that he thinks it will go well for the rest of the year, but Tyler then said that transferring to Greenfield has been a huge adjustment since he has been at a public school before coming here to Greenfield, which is a private school.

Plans for Tyler after high school are to go to college, get a four-year degree in Sports Management, and become a Physical Therapist. When I asked Tyler about his dream college, he said UNC-Chapel Hill.
