It’s around the time where Valentine’s day has passed and the next big event in school is prom. Many students each year get their significant other to go to the prom with them to enjoy the activities that ensue.

Every year, the junior class or 11th grade, chooses the theme, does the fundraising, and creates the setups for prom. One of the main ways that money is raised goes hand in hand with Valentine’s day. Candy Grams are an easy to make bag of candy that students can give to other students for the price of 3$.

The theme for the prom this year is Garden Party. In the past, the themes have been good like the casino night. This one will be more entertaining, nicer to look at, and make all the past proms pale in comparison.

I encourage all upper school students to come to the prom this year because it is guaranteed to be a special time.
