Ohio State and Notre Dame football faced off on September 23, 2023. Notre Dame was handed their first season loss, and Ohio State resulted in their undefeated season still intact. Ohio State won 17-14.

With less than a minute left in the game, Ohio State was down 10-14 but ran it in for a touchdown with only one second left, making it almost impossible for Notre Dame to score and win, which is what happened.

After the game, Ohio State jumped to the number 4 ranking in the top 25, while Notre Dame decreased to number 11.

In my poll of 12 people, Notre Dame was the favorite to upset Ohio State and win the game, with the pollers giving Notre Dame a 66.7% chance of winning. My other question was who the better player was: Sam Hartman, who plays the QB for Notre Dame, or Marvin Harrison Jr, who plays WR for Ohio State. The pollers responded with Sam Hartman with 67%.

My anonymous source would not like to be named because he does not want his predictions being questioned, and, in his predictions, he had “Ohio State winning and Marvin Harrison Jr having 100 receiving yards". One out of his two predictions came true because Marvin Harrison Jr only had 32 receiving yards.

Notre Dame will play another tough matchup next week, playing No. 17 Duke.
