Obit: Aaron Carter, "I Want Candy" singer, dies at 34

Aaron Carter was born in Tampa, Florida, and was a pop artist who wrote many big songs. His most well-known song is “I Want Candy” that was released in 2000. He became a popstar in the 1990s. Nick Carter, Aaron Carter's brother, was also a popular artist; he is in the very well-known band, The Backstreet Boys.

On November 5th, 2022, Aaron Carter was found dead in his home in Lancaster, California, at age 34. An autopsy shows that he passed away due to an overdose.

Aaron Carter was engaged to Melanie Martin, and he had a son with her named Prince. His parents are Robert Carter and Jane Carter. His siblings were Nick Carter, Angel Carter, Leslie Carter, Bobbie Jean Carter, he has two half siblings named Virginia Carter and Kaden Carter, he also has a stepsister named Taelyn Dobson.

His family has not released information about the funeral arrangements, but they say it will be held at a later date.
