Nik Edwards: Senior spotlight

by Kobe Edwards

Nik Edwards is a senior at Greenfield School in the class of 2024, and he is looking to go to a college with a great business program.

Edwards was born on March 3rd, 2006, is 17 years old, and is from Wilson, NC.

Edwards has lots of hobbies, and one is playing his PS5. He is extraordinarily talented at playing video games, but he is even better at basketball, his main hobby.

Nik has been playing basketball since he was five, but he started taking it seriously in the 7 grade. Nik always played video games, but then he would always go to the gym, and he would always be around basketball. This led to him starting to like it and start taking it seriously.

Now, Nik is starting on the varsity basketball team for Greenfield and has earned many scholarships to play at different colleges, such as Bridgewater College, Dean College, Roanoke College, Johnson & Wales University, and Haverford College.

Edwards is also extremely intelligent and has earned many scholarships for school; he has been on the A honor multiple times here at Greenfield. “I am extremely blessed for all of the opportunities that God has given me.”

Nik is a great kid who always uses his manners and treats people politely, and because of that, he was chosen to be the citizenship award recipient and collected many merits for his doings.

Overall, Nik Edwards is an outstanding kid who will be going far in life because of how great he is with his manners, intelligence, and basketball skills.
