The 2022 school year has been welcoming many new teachers on campus. Mrs. Lindsey falls under that group of new faces on campus. She teaches 7th and 8th grade reading and language arts here at Greenfield.
Originally born in Jacksonville, NC, Mrs. Lindsey has lived here for the past decade of her life. Her children both attended Greenfield school for a year before she came on board as a teacher. After she got to know the people and environment that comes with the Greenfield name, she knew this was “where she wanted to be.” The family environment, activities and the great people at our school are the things she has enjoyed most about her time at Greenfield so far.
Mrs. Lindsey attended Coastal Carolina Community College and acquired her associates degree first, then transferred to the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she majored in English Literature and then finally got her masters degree from Morehead State University.
After graduating, she began her teaching career at Wilson Community College, where she still teaches while also being a Greenfield teacher. One thing Mrs. Lindsey would tell a student who wants to succeed would be “Don’t be afraid to ask for help” students come here to learn and asking for help is a part of learning. We look forward to all the memories made here with Mrs. Lindsey and are so happy to welcome her to the Greenfield School Family!
