Mrs. Brown joined Greenfield School this year as the second-grade teacher assistant. She has taught at a couple other schools and has taught other grades in lower school before coming here. This is her first year back at teaching after having her children who are also new members of the Greenfield family this year.

When asked if there was a specific reason that she decided to become a teacher or if she had just always wanted to be one, Mrs. Brown said, “I’ve just always wanted to become a teacher.” When asked what she likes about Greenfield School, she said, “I really like that we hold the students to a higher standard, and that the accountability is really on them. I think that prepares the kids for life.”

Mrs. Brown’s favorite subject to teach is math, and her favorite color is pink. She lives in Clayton currently and loves it there. Mrs. Brown also teaches yoga outside of school.

We are very happy to have Mrs. Brown join the Greenfield family this year!
