New Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Daphne Bennett

by Emily Barnes

This year the Greenfield family has brought on a new Director for the 2022-23 Preschool year, Mrs. Bennett.

When asked what Mrs. Bennett loves about Greenfield, she says she loves how she can make good connections with the students and their families since Greenfield is a smaller school.

Before she embarked on her career, at Greenfield, she was the preschool director at First Presbyterian Church in Wilson and enjoyed the position. She also taught Transition Kindergarten at Greenfield.

Mrs. Bennett states it doesn’t matter if you are preschool, lower, middle, upper or administrative, you feel like you belong working here.

Mrs. Bennett likes how Greenfield has a family-like atmosphere and it is easier to get closer with all of the students. Mrs. Bennett is known to be a very caring teacher, and we are lucky to have her with us for the 2022-2023 school year and hopefully many more.
