As we start the 2022 school year, we have been introduced to many new teachers at Greenfield School this year. Mrs. Parker, one of the new teachers, teaches 6th grade ELA, 7th grade world history, and 10th grade world history. Her husband, Mr. Parker, is also new to the school this year. Both have taught internationally around the world in Guatemala, Cambodia, Estonia, and many more.

Mrs. Parker was born and raised in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Before Mrs. Parker started her teaching life, she worked in corporate finance.

Mrs. Parker says that her husband, Mr. Parker, was the inspiration for her to go back to school and get her masters for teaching.

Her favorite thing about Greenfield school is the “family atmosphere” and how she can get closer with her students with smaller classes.

According to her students, Mrs. Parker is a favorited teacher with her fun personality. The Greenfield family loves having Mrs. Parker in their classroom helping our students grow and exceed.
