New Faculty Spotlight: Mrs. Julie Clark

by Ella Walston

Mrs. Julie Clark is new to Greenfield this year. She works as the 3rd grade teacher assistant, alongside Mrs. Crystal Boykin.

Mrs. Clark decided to come to Greenfield because her two children have attended school here for the past eight years. She volunteered here at Greenfield for years before deciding to accept a position working full time at the school that her family knows and loves.

Mrs. Clark graduated from Fike High School and worked in a local law office during her high school summers. She then attended East Carolina University for one year before returning home and pursuing an associate degree in Paralegal Technology. Her jobs before working at Greenfield included working in Workers’ Compensation at several law firms and working in the Greenfield Preschool and Presbyterian Weekday School while staying at home with her kids when they were younger.

Mrs. Clark says, “My favorite thing about Greenfield School so far has been getting to know the students in lower school. [There are] So many fun personalities, strong leaders, artists, and athletes coming through this school.” She also mentioned that her children have been provided with strong academics, a sense of family, and are held to certain expectations. So far, Mrs. Clark has enjoyed her time at Greenfield, and we have enjoyed having her here.
