There have been many teacher spotlights written about all the new teachers of Greenfield School, but now the spotlight is on Mrs. Manna.

Mrs. Manna attended Appalachian State University. She majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. She has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Manna’s current position at Greenfield is a 4th-grade teacher she teaches Math, Reading, English Grammar and Writing, Science, and Morphology. Morphology is the study of the forms of things.

Mrs. Manna’s past teaching career before she came to Greenfield she was teaching for 8 years in public school (Clemmons Elementary) in Clemmons, NC (outside of Winston Salem), and for 4 years at an independent school (Forsyth Country Day School) in Lewisville, NC (outside of Winston Salem as well).

After asking her what she loved about Greenfield, she responded “I love the relationships that I have built with my students. Seeing them excited about learning every day and helping them to grow and feel successful in academics are two of the many reasons I love teaching.”
