Mr. Holloran is a new staff member at Greenfield this year. He teaches AP United States History, AP United States Government and Politics, and eighth-grade geography.

Mr. Holloran has been teaching for eight years. When asked why he started teaching, he stated, “I read of things that the people who are happiest in life for people who do stuff and the service for others.” He also said that he did not have the best teachers growing up and wants to be a better teacher than they were, hopefully. He also stated, “My goal here is to get everybody through the class, but then get all of the AP kids to score really high on their AP exams so they will get college credit, and then they would go on and be successful in their lives.”

Outside of school, Mr. Holloran likes to hike, and he said that one of the things he was excited about this school year was the Outdoor Club’s hikes. He also hopes to finish hiking on the Appalachian Trail. He also likes to read science fiction and horror books in his free time, and he said that his favorite book is Salem’s Lot by Stephen King.
