It was first period. Cole Wainwright had just finished his vocabulary quiz in Mr. Griffin’s class. KJ Peten and Cole heard a noise coming from behind them. The first time Cole looked back, he didn’t see anything. But the second time he looked towards the wall, he saw it. It was a little furry feature. A mouse.
When asked if there was any significance to the mouse, Cole said, “Honestly, it might not have been a mouse.” Whether it was a mouse or not, it was definitely not expected.
When asked who was the most scared of it, Cole said, “A hundred percent, it was Aaron.” Aaron Murphy popped out of his seat and went to the middle of the room. Hearing that there is a mouse accompanying you in your class is very unexpected, so it’s not surprising that it raised a panic in the classroom.
Since this occurrence, there has been no sight of the mouse in Mr. Griffin’s room. When asked if there is any significance to the mouse, Mr. Griffin said, “If he’s still in here, he’s been quiet.”
So, a mouse may have come into Mr. Griffin’s room one day. It hasn’t been spotted since. Even if it wasn’t a mouse, that was an eventful first period for the group of students in Mr. Griffin’s room.
