Fresh off of the OG season of Fortnite - a 30-day span where players could play on the original Fortnite map and use the original items - players were looking for something to keep their momentum going and the new items, and map of Chapter 5 of Fortnite just wasn’t doing it for the fanbase.

Leaks were shown of a Lego mode coming to Fortnite and it immediately became the most popular thing on the internet. When the game mode finally released, it amassed 2 million concurrent players on the first day of its launch.

I asked Davis Boyd what he thought of the game mode and he said, “It was the most fun I’ve had playing Fortnite in years.”

Lego Fortnite is an adventure survival game in which the player explores a world full of grassy knolls, steamy deserts, and chilling mountains. The objective is simple: build a totem so you can place buildings around it and upgrade the rating using materials you find in the wild, and survive. The simplicity of the mechanics for the average player is perfect for a relaxing experience no matter what you’re doing.

The game has recently died down due to there being no major updates in the previous weeks, but it is still worth checking out if you can.
