I was curious about what the high school students have planned on doing during Christmas. So, I surveyed the majority of the high schoolers to hear about their upcoming plans.

Nearly all the people I surveyed said they were staying home to hang out with their families. While at the same time, others were planning on doing other activities such as redoing their room, hanging out at the lake, or playing the piano. It was also great to see that a stellar 85% of people were going to hang out with their relatives, instead of just their immediate family, to improve family relations.

When I asked about what most people surveyed were going to eat for Christmas, a large majority said they would have cookies, followed by ham, turkey, steak, and sugar plum pudding. Some special unique foods that pollers listed were, ‘Milk with the cookies,’ ‘Sweet Potato Ice Cream,’ or better yet, ‘Pancakes.’ One participant was a Spanish-speaking guest and said that, most of all, he would like to eat with his friends.

In regard to gifts, 80% of the high schoolers were planning to get clothes, while 20% planned on getting a new console, and 17% hoped to get a new game or laptop. Another 10% of pollers were anticipating on receiving a new smartphone. Some interesting responses among others were, ‘Gaming PC,’ ‘VR headset,’ and ‘a boyfriend.’ I found this poll very interesting and informative, and hope to hear more of your responses in the future.
