"Hamilton" coming to DPAC

by Jordan Corts

Hamilton, the touching story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the United States founding fathers, is coming to North Carolina.

The story follows the life of Alexander Hamilton’s rise to fame and him rising to his post as George Washington’s right-hand man in the war.

The musical premiered in 2015 and has become one of Broadway's best since then. It does a fantastic job of representing minority groups while still being subtle and a reliable interpretations of Hamilton’s life, according to historians.

While the musical coming to Durham won't include the original cast, it will include an extremely talented cast of actors. I am extremely eager to see the musical in it’s full glory. However, for those who aren’t fortunate enough to pick up one of the tickets which range from $100-$300, the full musical is available on Disney+.
