In the past three years, Greenfield has beaten Wayne Country day four times, and Wayne County day has only won one time. Players from the 2021-2022 season described the game as an excellent environment to play in with all the energy from the vast crowd and two student sections of the opposing schools.

According to Coach Salter, he has only lost the Wayne Country Day 4 or 5 times in his years of coaching, and he does not plan on losing now.

This rivalry game took place on Tuesday, January 9th. When the game tipped off, the tension was high, and it was tight from the beginning. Neither team wanted to lose this game. Each team would make its run, but the opposing team would come right back at them. In the end, Wayne Country day’s team started to fuss and fell apart, and that's when Greenfield made their strike. Greenfield ended up winning the rivalry game 86 - 77.
