On Tuesday October 12,2021, Greenfield School Volleyball had a Pink Out against DASH.
Pink Out is a fundraiser that the junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams do for breast cancer awareness. All the money goes to a charity for breast cancer. “Pink out brings us all together and gives us all something to work for that is bigger than volleyball”, says Brooklyn Scott.
At Pink Out, the JV volleyball team played; between that game and the varsity game, there was a "volleyball dig," where you would pay to hit balls to the varsity players. Whomever had the most balls hit to the player would win a prize.

In an interview with Brooklyn Scott, Brooklyn said, “I do think that having the parents and students play was a fun experience because it was fun to see our parents try to play like we do.”
Brooklyn thinks there should be another pink out because it helps raise awareness of breast cancer and it gives the volleyball team something to look forward to.
Brooklyn's’ favorite thing about this year has been how good everyone on the team gets along, the way we all encourage each other, and she feels that she can go to any of these girls about anything. She thinks that Pink Out shouldn’t change. Brooklyn commented, “I think it was perfect!”
