During Spring Break of 2022 (April 16-23), there will be a trip to Spain for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Chaperoning this trip will be Sr. Luis Giron, Mrs. Paula Morales, and Mr. Penwell.
The trip itinerary is as follows: they will be going to Madrid for three days, which is one of the main cities in Spain, then Barcelona for three days, and Girona for the last day of touring.
The reason for going, according to Sr. Giron, is clear. He said, “We teach a language and culture, but the best way to teach it is to live and experience the things we learn in class we will see in Spain. When you teach another language, you teach another world.”
He hopes that the students will have the experience to discover the language, the food, historical places, sports, and the art of Spain.
Sr. Giron is extremely excited to go to Spain with the students a second time. “Just think about going there to discover the place and their way of living!”
