The Greenfield School Varsity Girls basketball team has had a highly successful season this year. After a tough loss to Wayne Christian School on Friday, the Knights are still optimistic about their chances in the conference and state tournaments.

The Knight’s head coach, Bruce Wall, was asked what the knights' greatest strengths and weaknesses were. He said, “We are strongest at adjusting to our opponents and changing what we need to beat a team. We are weakest at rebounding because we are undersized compared to most teams.” The Knights have been able to overcome these challenges and are currently ranked 3rd in 1-A State rankings.

The team’s point guard and captain, Serenity McNair, reports that she is excited about what the rest of the season holds. Serenity says, "I feel very hopeful about the rest of our season, and I feel like we are growing more and more every day.”

The Knights’ next game is at home against Liberty Christian Academy on Tuesday. The CPIC tournament starts on Monday, February 7th, and the NCISAA State Tournament begins the following week.
