Freshman Spotlight: Emily Barnes

Emily Barnes is a freshman here at Greenfield and is a big part of the Newspaper. Emily has been helping with the newspaper for this past school year and has written many articles including Senior Spotlights, New teacher spotlights, sports roundups, and many more.

Emily Barnes has been going to Greenfield since first grade. In her time here at Greenfield, she has been involved on campus with clubs and sports. She has played volleyball, soccer, basketball and been a part of the Greenfield swim team. Emily has been a part of clubs like Buddies not Bullies, Community Service and Headbands for Hope.

“My favorite class this year is geometry because it just comes easy to me”. She exceeds academically and is a great friend to have on campus. Emily often makes the honor roll and is known among her teachers as an avid learner and someone who is always energetic in class.
