On Monday, January 15, the Eagles were eliminated by the Buccaneers in the playoffs. The score was 31-9, and the Eagles were favorited to win the game with a 59.2% chance to win.

Longtime Eagles fan Bryce Garrett said, “I literally almost cried when they lost.”

The Eagles were favorited to win the game because they had made the Super bowl the year before and they did not lose anybody important.

The Eagles were 2nd in their division while the Buccaneers were 1st in their division. It may seem that the Buccaneers should have won due to rankings, but the Eagles division is better than the Buccaneers division.

During the game, the Eagles could not get through the Buccaneers defense, which led to them losing the game 9-32. In the game the Buccaneers had 426 total yards, while the Eagles only had 276 total yards. Many say that this year will be a comeback season, but after the loss many have been quiet.
