On February 24, 2024, RJ Davis scored 42 points to give UNC the win over Miami. This night was important for RJ Davis and UNC because this is the most points ever scored in the Dean Smith Center. RJ Davis was also the only person on UNC Basketball team to score in double digits. RJ Davis scored 21 points and 4 three pointers in the first half. RJ Davis then had another 21 points and 3 three pointers in the second half. I was surprised by this because normally he will get about 20 points. This performance helped UNC get the win against Miami. the win brought UNC up to the 9th ranked slot in the NCAA. This also kept Miami on a losing streak and brought that losing streak to seven losses. Eli Farris said, “he was playing insane, while the rest of the team wasn't doing the best, and now I believe that he could make the NBA.” This win over Miami brought UNC to a 22-6 record.
