On October 12, 1894, NC State played a college football game at Chapell Hill against the Tar Heels for the first time in history. The Tar Heels were able to pull out a victory against the Wolfpack that sparked a rivalry between the two for the next hundred years. UNC is 6-1, and NC State is 4-3. On November 25, the Tar Heels will travel to the home of the wolves, and the two rivals shall duel.

NC State is not likely to win the game against UNC since UNC has a better record and played better teams. Trak Godwin states, “NC State is a solid team this year. They don’t have many wins, but UNC coming off the Virginia loss has got UNC down. If State could play UNC anytime, then this would be the time State would win.” NC State is known for its comebacks, and either way, the UNC vs. NC State game will be a good game to watch with friends and family.
