The spotlight has been on many seniors this year but now the spotlight is on McKenna Warren. McKenna is one of the seniors at Greenfield she has been attending Greenfield since she was in the 8th grade. After asking her what she enjoyed about Greenfield she responded, “I like the small class sizes because it's easier to have open conversations instead of everything being just the teacher's opinion.”

McKenna is also involved in some extracurriculars; she is the President of the Environmental Club, one of the DEI Leaders, and a Representative for the Spanish Club. McKenna’s favorite class at Greenfield is AP Lit, because it opened my mind to enjoying literature, since she has always been "a more logic-based person."

When McKenna graduates from Greenfield she plans to go to Colorado State University for Honors in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Microbiology. After college, “I hope to become an environmental consultant for companies to help them make more informed decisions regarding their environmental footprint as well as research new ways to conserve natural resources.” After asking which teacher’s teacher’s she believed helped her the most she responded, "the teachers that made the biggest impact on me were Mr. Fansler, Mr. Benoit, and Ms. Howard."
