Class of 2023 Spotlight: Hanson Ngo

by Trak Godwin

Hanson Ngo is a senior at Greenfield School. He has been attending Greenfield since the 6th grade. Hanson has played many sports, such as tennis, since his 7th grade year, and played soccer his junior and senior year, also has done swimming his sophomore and junior year.

His favorite class at Greenfield was AP calculus. This was his favorite class because “we learned a lot and I had a lot of fun in the class.”

Hanson was born in Charlotte NC and moved to Wilson when he was 3. He moved because his family wanted to open a business. His favorite hobbies are playing video games, working out, and also playing tennis.

Hanson has planned on going to NC State but also has applied to other colleges such as UNC, ECU, and Georgia Tech. Hanson advice to rising high schoolers is that they should make a routine and get into the gym. Hanson will be very successful in college as he has come a long way at Greenfield himself.
