Urvi Patel is a senior this year at Greenfield School. She has been going to Greenfield since her freshman year. She has played soccer and ran track before COVID ended the season. Her favorite subject in high school is AP Calculus, and her favorite spirit day tradition is the oldies and newbies day.

Urvi wants to become a doctor when she is older. She has applied to ECU, UNC Charlotte, Alabama, UNC Chapel Hill, Brown, and Princeton, and hopes to see herself finishing med school in the next ten years. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite animal is an elephant, because when she went to India with her family, they had the opportunity to ride elephants. There, she learned that are wise animals, which led her to fall in love with them.

I had asked her who has inspired her the most and she said, “Mrs. Bradley has inspired me the most because she has helped me throughout my whole high school [experience].” I asked Urvi what the most challenging thing about her senior year and she replied, “The most challenging thing is applying to colleges.”

In three words she described her senior year as exciting, fun, and exhausting. Urvi encourages others to “[step out of their] comfort zone and being a leader.”
