Class of 2022 Spotlight: Mia Spagnoletti

by Gabby Beddingfield

Mia Spagnoletti is a senior at Greenfield School this year. She came to Greenfield for her junior year of high school. She was a member of the volleyball team both this year and last year, and is participating on the swim team this year.

Mia has been a part of many clubs during her two years at Greenfield, including Headbands for Hope Club, Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, DEI Club, Environmental Club, SGA as a Senior-At-Large, Stage Manager for the Drama Club, an editor for The Knight’s Post, and a tutor for the Math Tutoring Club.

When asked who impacted her the most during her time at Greenfield, and what impact they had on her, Mia said, “My mom, who is now a teacher at Greenfield, impacted me the most by encouraging me to try new things and to embrace the way of Greenfield. Without her, I wouldn’t be at Greenfield and wouldn’t have met all these people and been as involved as I am now.”

When asked what advice she would give to other high school students, Mia said, “I would advise other high school students to get as involved as they can and try new clubs/sports because they present the opportunity of meeting new people and experiencing new things. I would also advise students not to put too much stress on themselves with course loads and to enjoy high school now.”

Mia Spagnoletti has impacted Greenfield School, and we will miss her next year!
