Alex Johnson is one of the seniors for the class of 2022. He takes part in the Greenfield baseball team as a catcher and plans to major in chemistry and environmental science at NC State, where he hopes to attend. This is Alex's third year at Greenfield. His favorite class was AP Language with Mr. Benoit and his favorite subject is biology.

Outside of school, Alex loves to watch and play baseball, and his favorite baseball player being Trea Turner. As a member of the Greenfield baseball team, his goals for the end of the year are to eventually increase his batting average and run a couple of runners out.

His favorite memory of Greenfield was when he and his baseball team beat Halifax in the quarter-finals, after suffering multiple losses. What he will miss most is its small campus environment and daily interactions between the students and teachers at Greenfield.

We will certainly miss Alex’s presence on campus as he continues to the next chapter in his life. We hope that he will continue pursuing his favorite sport of baseball while he continues his studies as a new undergraduate student.
