In the coming weeks, many students in our Upper School will be going on annual spring bonding trips. 9th through 11th grade students are going to Washington, D.C. and seniors are going to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL for their Class of 2023 senior trip.

Students attending the trip to Washington D.C. will leave Wilson on March 30th and return home on March 31st. The seniors that are going to Universal Studios will also leave March 30th and return home April 1st. The chaperones for these trips will be Mr. Penwell Mrs. Bradley for the Florida trip and Mr. Griffin, Mr. Benoit, Mrs. Lupton, and Mrs. King for the D.C. trip.

When I asked her about the Washington D.C. trip, Emily Barnes said “I’m so excited for the trip and I’m excited to see landmarks and make memories with some of my friends.”

I asked Aivy Nguyen what she is most excited about at Universal Studios and she said, “I'm most excited to ride the VelociCoaster!”

Students going to Washington, D.C. will be going to the Smithsonian Museum, Hirshhorn museum, a guided tour of the monuments and Arlington Cemetery, and the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial. The seniors will be exploring Universal Studios in Orlando, Floridia. We can't wait to see what they get to do and all the pictures!
