Best of Wilson: Best-n-Burger

by Ethan Carraway

"Best of Wilson" is an eight-part series that aims to highlight local businesses, cultural icons, and important institutions in the city of Wilson and its environs. Each week, a member of The Knight's Post staff will choose a location to write on in an effort to draw attention to what makes Wilson "Wiltson."

There’s no feeling like getting to sit down with a fresh burger and a steamy side of fries at dinner time.

Let me suggest you one of the greatest places to experience this, Best-N-Burger. BNB is relatively new in correlation with Wilson and has really changed up the burger game in the city.

The location is a little tricky to get to, but it’s worth the effort. When you get inside it’s like a clip-out from the 1950s, with all the old artwork and checkered themed dining sets. The aesthetic really sets the mood for what comes up next: the food.

The buns are buttered to perfection, the patty is a crisp dark brown, and the toppings are always fresh. The prices are fair for the taste, but the burgers are nowhere near the best part of this place.

The dessert will always be the best part of eating there without a doubt. Dip-n-Dots combines so well with the savory taste of the burgers and fries after you’ve finished eating. I would say that Best-n-Burgers is definitely worth checking out.
