"Best of Wilson" is an eight-part series that aims to highlight local businesses, cultural icons, and important institutions in the city of Wilson and its environs. Each week, a member of The Knight's Post staff will choose a location to write on in an effort to draw attention to what makes Wilson "Wiltson."
Imagine going on a car ride and riding to the nearest movie theater to see the newest movie as a kid, whether it was The Matrix, Back to the Future, or even the latest Disney movie, Encanto.
Watching movies at the movie theater has been a special to-do for decades, and it won’t end anytime soon. Wilson has their very own prized movie theater, the AMC.
The movie theater building used to be a Carmike Cinemas, but was ultimately bought out by AMC. Even so, the charm of the location, the surrounding community, and the advertising gives the theater an amazing look.
Not only does the outside look good, but the inside is top-notch as well. The popcorn, drinks, and snacks are a perfect ten out of ten every single time; never has a flat drink, stale popcorn, or a rip-off crossed through this theater.
If you are passing by Wilson, or live in the area, please come here to watch the latest film, and I promise your experience will be uniquely great.
