Basketball off to good start

The basketball season for the Greenfield Knights has been shot off to a good start this season.

This season, Greenfield has a JV/Varsity girls basketball team, a middle school team (green and white teams), and a JV/Varsity boys' basketball team.

The next game for middle school green team has a game on Monday, November 29th against Parrot at Greenfield at 4:00 p.m.

Varsity girls have a game on Monday, November 29th against Sallie B. Howard at Greenfield at 6:00 p.m.

Darcy Dean, a member of the basketball team, commented on the team's goal for this year.

“This year I'm hoping that we can win the state championships because I would love to see our improvement in our basketball team from last year,” Darcy said.

The Greenfield Knights have a bright shot this season and hopefully they can hoop their way into the basketball championships this basketball season.
