The 2023 NFL season kicked off on Thursday, September 17th. As the Detroit Lions played the 2023 Super Bowl champs the Kansas City Chiefs, the game was close with a score of 21-20, with the Detroit Lions taking home the win.
The Detroit Lions in their first game of the 2023 season beat a Super Bowl champion team, while they have yet to appear in the super bowl. The Detroit Lions have Super Bowl potential; their strong defense may lead them all the way this year. They are definitely a team to keep your eyes on this year.
I took a poll to see if people agreed with the fact that the Detroit Lions have a real shot at winning the Super Bowl and if not who they thought would win, this is what the results looked like. 66.7% of people believe the Kansas City Chiefs will make it back and win their 4 th Super Bowl, 29.2% of people think the Pittsburg Steelers will win it all, and 4.2% of people think it will be the Cleveland Browns to take home the Super Bowl Champion title.
I interviewed Lower School Physical Education & Health, JV Boys/Girls Soccer Head Coach about her Super Bowl Predictions and why, this is what she said. “I’m going to have to say the Eagles and 49ers will be in the Superbowl this year. Christian McCaffery is a beast, and the Eagles are a strong team.”
This up and coming NFL season is going to be tough, each team has trained so hard during the offseason. This NFL season you aren’t going to want to miss, these teams are ready to put up a fight to determine who the 2024 Super Bowl Champions will be.
