The New NBA season began as of October 26, 2023. With this new season approaching there are many questions being asked heading into it such as, will the Nuggets win back-to-back championships or who will the MVP be? With all the trades like Damian Lillard to the Bucks and Bradley Beal going to the Suns, these trades have people asking more questions like will the Bucks win the championship or the Suns win? With these questions come predictions.
In a poll I asked NBA fans who would win MVP? The results came in as Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo were both the favorites at 33%. Another question I asked in the poll was who would win Rookie of the Year and the answer to that question was the first overall pick Victor Wembanyama by 67%. The last question was who would be NBA Champions? The answer would be that was remarkably close with the outcome, and it was the Bucks, Celtics, and Suns, with them each at 33% percent.
In my interview I asked Kobe Edwards who his predictions were for the new season, and he said that “the 2024 MVP will be Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Rookie of the Year will be Victor Wembanyama. Then the 2024 Champions will be the Bucks because of the new addition All-NBA Damian Lillard.”
My predictions are the Suns winning the championship because of their Big 3. Victor Wembanyama winning Rookie of the Year because he is a freak of a player and Luka Doncic winning MVP because he will average a triple double or near triple double.
